Walls are buildings in Medieval II: Total War. A wall is essential to defenses of town or city. It also enables building of towers and without building wall, town or city cannot be improved to next level. Wall are are also important, when it comes to free upkeep garrison units number, but only units recruited in current wall are without upkeep cost.
