After suffering defeat and near annihilation at the hands of Pagan forces, those few members of the Livonian Order who survived the Battle of Saule now fight alongside the Teutonic Order. Riding into combat, weilding a mace and wearing chainmail armor, these knights are fulled by the desire to avenge their fallen brethren who lost their lives to remorseless Pagans.
The Christ Knights are the first heavy cavalry available to the Teutonic Order. Like all heavy cavalry, they have a highly powerful charge and can cut through heavy infantry and cavalry alike with their armor-piercing maces. They should not attack spearmen or crossbowmen from the front or pursue light ranged cavalry like horse archers and javelin cavalry.
They are an excellent heavy cavalry to use throughout the campaign.
