Belgium emerges if the region of Flanders & Wallonia has a successful rebellion or is liberated. Flanders & Wallonia borders France to the south, the Netherlands to the north, and Cleves-Mark to the west (held initially by France, the Batavian Republic, and Prussia respectively.
Belgium shares some similarities with the United Netherlands in terms of units: both are the only factions that may recruit Dutch Flanquers, a type of light infantry, and Carabiniers, heavy cavalry with the unusual attribute (for a cavalry unit) of being resistant to morale shocks. The rest of Beligum's roster is unremarkable, with a small selection of line infantry, militia, and grenadiers. The Belgian unit roster lacks elite infantry and skirmishers.
